Dogwood Hill was built with energy-efficient windows and six-inch exterior walls of Austin stone. An interior wall with double insulation separates the downstairs bedrooms, helping to ensure your privacy. Downstairs bedrooms open onto the west porch, just steps from our brand new hot tub. The roomy efficiency upstairs also has a separate outside entrance. Guests have access to all the property grounds. Every guest room has these amenities:

The South Room (pictured upper left) is on the front of the house and has a double window facing the lawn as well as a window facing the woods on the side. The room is decorated in warm tones of yellow, gold and cinnamon red and has a comfortable queen-size bed with brass headboard and a mirrored chest.

The North Room (pictured second left) is on the back of the house and has windows facing the woods on two sides. It is decorated in soothing shades of plum, mint and moss green. The pecan sleigh bed holds a comfortable queen-size mattress. There are Tiffany-style lamps and a chest of drawers.

If you want even more privacy, consider the Upstairs Efficiency (pictured in two bottom left images). A private outside entry just off the east porch leads to an efficiency apartment with a queen size bed, sofa, dinette set and a fully equipped kitchen stocked with coffee, microwave popcorn and cold drinks. Decorated in navy and tan, it has two windows that overlook the woods.

All rates are subject to Texas state occupancy tax of six percent.
